If you need new kitchen tools for yourself or a gift - the best bridal shower gifts around - check out the new “Cook for the Cure” line from KitchenAid. A donation of 10-percent of the retail selling price of each product benefits the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. A name you can trust, AND they have pretty pink decorative touches here and there…

Our favorite products from the “Cook for the Cure” pink themed line include:

pink measuring spoons

KitchenAid Cook For The Cure Measuring cups and measuring spoons set in pink. The basics every Messy Chef needs for under $10!

pink silicone scraper

KitchenAid Cook for the Cure Silicone Spoon Spatula in pink. Shown here as part of a gift set with the peeler and whisk. Also under $10! This is the best spatula you will ever own for 3 reasons:
1. It can resist heat, so you can leave it in your pot or on your stove and it won’t melt.
2. The great design has a built-in rest for counters and is dishwasher safe
3. It gets the bowl clean!

pink ice cream scooper

The last ice cream scooper you will ever buy will be this sturdy pink one that users say gets right through fun frozen treats with ease. “Ice Cream Partay!!”

silicone baking mats

KitchenAid Cook for the Cure Silicone Baking Mats- set of 2 in PINK of course. These baking mats can go from oven to freezer and back to counter. Use them to line cookie sheets and never have food stick again -without adding spray or other non-stick items to your food. Next time you want to freeze and save food, you can freeze it on the mat, and when it’s frozen slide it into a freezer bag and it will fit in a tight spot in your freezer.

The Cook for the Cure line has many more products: a tea kettle, hand mixer and tabletop mixer, food chopper, aprons, knives, coffee grinder, toaster, heart-shaped silicone baking pan … you can learn more at Cookforthecure.com or roll over an image above for the Amazon.com info. You need to register each pink product purchased at cookforthecure.com to generate a donation. Tell them the Messy Chef sent you!

Jen E Says:

I’d love all of these but I’m pretty sure my dH would go on strike, and since he does his fair share of time in the kitchen, I’m tending to keep that in mind when picking out utensils… ::sigh::
